The Browne Academy community is united in a shared commitment to providing our children an outstanding education. We value Browne's stimulating and challenging academic program, extraordinary faculty and superior learning environment. We recognize that at Browne, every child can thrive in the vigorous pursuit of realizing his or her academic potential and preparing to be a lifelong learner.
Our shared commitment to achieving and maintaining academic excellence is a hallmark of Browne Academy, and it is honoring that commitment that is the purpose of the Annual Fund for Academic Excellence.
To achieve our mission to develop the whole child by opening many avenues of opportunity and enabling every student to succeed, it takes more than ready students, outstanding teachers and first rate facilities. It requires a commitment to continuous improvement through ongoing investment in professional development, library and classroom enhancements and technology upgrades that put a world of learning at a student's fingertips.
Tuition alone does not cover the costs of fully implementing the academic program, allowing our teachers remain at the top of their field, and ensuring that the school is equipped with the latest learning technology. To have the resources necessary to achieve Browne's academic goals we, as a community must raise more than $200,000 annually in charitable gifts from families, faculty, grandparents and alumni. These gifts are a tangible expression of our shared commitment to academic excellence and to the future of Browne Academy and our students.

What does the Annual Fund for Academic Excellence Support?
Contributions to the Annual Fund support curriculum development, professional development, supplemental educational programs, acquisitions for the Library, athletic equipment and much more.
Annual Fund donations also help Browne Academy offer competitive faculty salaries and benefits to ensure Browne students are guided and taught by some of the finest educators available anywhere.
Why is unrestricted giving so important to Browne Academy?
Unrestricted gifts — contributions made to the Annual Fund for Academic Excellence for the school's general operating expenses — may be directed by the school's leaders to the program area in greatest need. Although all donations are greatly appreciated, unrestricted gifts are the most flexible and therefore the most valuable a school can receive.
