  • Parents Association All Family Gatherings - October 10, 2007 at 6:30 P.M. and April 30, 2008 at 6:30 P.M.

    These semi-annual gatherings are vital opportunities for Browne parents to meet and greet fellow parents and to hear Margot Durkin, Head of School, discuss the direction of Browne. These evenings provide an opportunity to have questions and concerns addressed by school Administrators.

  • All School Picnic - Sunday, September 16, 2007

    This is the first school-wide event of the year. It is a wonderful opportunity for Browne families to reconnect after the summer, and for new families to meet other Browne families. It is a potluck picnic with games and activities planned for the children. Volunteers are needed for the following sub-committees: Food, Venue, Games/Activities, and Set-up/Clean-up. Enjoy the Browne community atmosphere.

    Family Fun Festival Flyer

    Games, rides, food, crafts and a used-book sale are all part of the fun and excitement of the Family Fun Festival. Held on the campus of Browne Academy, the Family Fun Festival is an enjoyable afternoon of school spirit and community building. This big event relies on many parent volunteers for help with pre-event planning as well as day-of-event assistance. It is a great opportunity to work with other Browne parents while producing a fun afternoon for all.

  • Book Fair - November 2-9, 2007

    Explore the wonderful world of books at the PA-sponsored Book Fair, Friday-Friday, Nov. 2-9, in the Middle School Commons. Hours are 8am-6pm. Parking is available on the field by the preschool all day and after 4pm in the teachers' spots. On Monday, Nov. 5th, book signing by local author Lorraine Friedman will be held from 9am-10am. Copies of her books will be available for purchase at the Book Fair. We will also host Pastries for Parents in the Middle School Foyer on Monday from 8:30am-10am. Enjoy tasty pastries and coffee while you shop and/or get your own copy of Ms. Friedman's book signed! On Friday, November 2nd, Clifford the Big Red Dog will welcome the Preschool children from 8:15am- 9am. Clifford will visit the Lower School during lunch on Nov. 6. Teacher Wish Lists will be available again this year. When a book is purchased for the teacher, it is marked with a donation bookplate and presented to the teacher for his/her classroom.
