Part-Time Middle School History Teacher- 2017-2018

Browne Academy seeks a passionate and experienced middle school history teacher to work within a rigorous, collaborative, and inquiry-based program. Responsibilities for this part-time position include teaching two sections of 7th grade history and acting as a student advisor. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for guiding and connecting with middle school students, experience teaching history, willingness to work within an interdisciplinary program, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth. Information Literacy Specialist/Librarian

The Information Literacy Specialist/Librarian reports to the Lower School Division Head. S/he is responsible for all aspects of the library programs and facilities; supervises library staff; and seeks to ensure that the library’s academic and technology resources complement, enhance, and extend the school’s educational program. In addition, s/he is responsible for the systematic instruction of library and information literacy skills to all students. S/he will collaborate closely with the director of educational technology and the faculty. Please see the attached job description for further detail. Middle School English Teacher- 2017-2018

Browne Academy seeks a passionate and experienced Middle School English teacher to work within a rigorous, collaborative, and inquiry-based program. Responsibilities include teaching four sections of English, a seminar class, and acting as a student advisor. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for guiding and connecting with middle school students, experience teaching writing and literature, willingness to work within an interdisciplinary program, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth. Full Time Spanish Teacher Grades 3-8

Browne Academy seeks a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher to work within a rigorous, collaborative, and inquiry-based program. Responsibilities include teaching third through grade eight Spanish and acting as a student advisor. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for connecting with and guiding students, classroom teaching experience, fluency in the Spanish language, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
