Visit Our Campus

Browne Academy’s eleven-acre campus is conveniently located just off the Beltway and minutes from Old Town Alexandria.

Our facilities include state-of-the-art classrooms, an athletic and arts center, a swimming pool, climbing wall, two libraries, Innovation Center, a technology lab, four playgrounds, and a playing field for soccer and outdoor physical education classes.

An exceptional environment for hands-on learning, our campus provides the perfect backdrop to challenge students academically, while also nurturing their individual talents in art, music, language, athletics, and more. However, it’s not just about where or what we teach—it’s about how we teach that makes the difference in our students’ success. When you visit Browne Academy, you’ll notice that class sizes are significantly smaller than the norm, allowing our educators to give each student individual attention, thereby helping each one reach his or her full potential.

Prospective families are welcome to visit our campus by attending an Open House event. Open Houses typically include presentations by faculty and staff, including our Head of School and Director of Admission, and tours of our campus. These tours offer and opportunity for you to learn more about what happens at Browne Academy during the school day. You will have an opportunity to speak with teachers, current parents, and student ambassadors. Each tour gives a small group of visitors the unique opportunity to observe students and teachers in our classrooms and experience our welcoming school community.

Upcoming Open House dates are as follows:

  • Wednesday, October 19, 2016, 9:00 AM
  • Friday, November 11, 2016, 9:00 AM
  • Sunday, December 4, 2016, 1:30 PM
  • Tuesday, January 10, 2017, 9:00 AM

We hope to see you on campus soon!
